Voter Resources

The League encourages informed and active participation in government and provides a variety of resources to voters and community members to foster their engagement. All of the League's voter service and educational activities are provided on a strictly nonpartisan basis.

Get to Know Your Elected Officials

  • King County residents can find all their current representatives here.
  • In addition, Washington residents can use the State District Finder to find your legislative and congressional districts with links to contact your elected state officials.
  • Log in to the Secretary of State's voting information portal at http://www.votewa.gov/ for a full list of elected officials based on your address.

They Represent You (TRY) Directory

The TRY directory contains contact information for local elected officials as well as the county council, school boards, Washington state officials, legislative committees, political parties and more. It’s an essential tool for community activists! The directory is available in print form (contact info@lwvskc.org) or online.

Please consider helping support this valuable community resource with a tax-deductible donation.

Civics Education

The State We’re In Textbook

A Guide to Washington State Courts

A Guide to Washington State Courts is a resource guide published and supported in part by a grant from the Program on Law and Society of the Open Society Institute and the League of Women Voters of Washington Education Fund. This resource gives an overview of the Washington court system, the different types of cases and trial process, how our courts are organized, and how to schedule a visit to observe a court session.
