You don’t need to be an expert to make a difference. Advocacy can be as simple as contacting an elected official, sharing accurate information, attending an event, or speaking up about an issue that matters to you. Here are some ways to get started.

No Kings Vote Early is a nonpartisan day of voter participation on Saturday, Oct. 17. Join your neighbors at these local event to make a plan to vote early, learn your options for how to vote and make sure your voice is heard. Events are nonviolent and open to all eligible voters.

Many League activities are open to everyone. Some volunteer and advocacy opportunities involve representing LWVSKC in the community—such as voter registration, ballot parties, and election observation—and are reserved for League members.
