LWVSKC will host an information table outside the Raven Terrace Building to share voter resources and connect with community members. Hosted by the Seattle Housing Authority and Neighborhood House, the event is expected to draw 300–500 attendees.

Oppose the Voter ID Act - It takes less than 5 minutes

Congress continues to introduce bills that would create unnecessary barriers to voting by requiring voters to present documents like government-issued photo IDs to vote.
Add your name and send an online notice to your Senators to Vote No on the Voter ID Act.

Expanding Voter Outreach

Thank you to Suzanne Ornstein for bringing LWVSKC voter outreach to the Delridge Farmers Market, reaching new voters through a partnership with African Community Housing & Development.

Connecting with New Voters

Thank you to Sarah Beth Miller and Liliana Brickl for representing LWVSKC at the YMCA Level Up Resource Fair, where they engaged community members in conversations about voting and democracy.

A Community Conversation

More than 40 community members attended Elections Under Fire on August 8. Thank you to Janet Lenart, Crystal Christensen, Emily Hard, and Mary Burke for leading this important discussion as part of the League's national Day of Action.

Supporting Transparent Elections

Thank you to the 30 League members who volunteered as election observers during the Primary Election ballot count. Your service helps strengthen transparency and public confidence in our elections.

Building Election Knowledge

Thank you to Callie Ridolfi for leading the League's Election Information Briefing. Local units now have trained Election Advocates who can help members better understand election integrity and security.
